Power yoga is a vinyasa (movement with breath) style flow starting with sun salutations, going into standing postures, belly down, seated and backbends, incorporating core work and finishing with folds and hip openers. It is a practice that lengthens and strengthens every muscle.
Friday evening Gentle Yoga

Sharon is 46 years old and has been doing yoga since she was 17 (29 years). This started as a meditation practice (going to a little studio with a boyfriend and sitting at home) to infuse some magic into everyday life.
Over the years she has found the magic more in the transformative power of physical asana (poses). She enjoys pushing her edges and finds enthusiasm and interest to be the best guides.
Eight years ago in 2016 she did her 200hr teacher certification with Sadhana Yoga School and is now completing her 300hr with Power Yoga University.
Other interests include a love of water, nature and travel. She believes that some traveling can be done without ever leaving your mat but that time outdoors every day is essential.
She practices and teaches Stand Up Paddle Board Yoga in the warm months.
