About the teachers
Alex
A mother of three, Alex lives in Milford amongst baskets of toys, art supplies, rock collections, dried flowers, fairy lights and shelves of treasured books. Before becoming fully immersed in the throes of stay at home motherhood for the past eleven years, she earned her Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in 2009. While pregnant with baby number three, Alex completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training. She is now and will continue to be for the rest of this life, a student of herbalism, tantra, various healing modalities, mysticism, spirituality, and the magic of birth and the female reproductive system.
One of her passions is to support women through conception, pregnancy and motherhood. She is here to mother the mother, provide a safe space and offer solutions to the woman who is depleted, overwhelmed or burned out and create community among women to gather in support and solidarity. Alex is here to help women live in their most authentic expression, to explore their devine femininity and meet their shadow.
Aside from finding her at Rise up, she can be spotted frolicking through the many trails in the forests of New England, sinking her toes in its sandy beaches, curled up with a book and tea, or caught in a fit of laughter with her dear friends.
She offers custom tea blends and bath soaks. Request a consultation by email: [email protected]
